ARM partner PlayCanvas have released Casino, an interactive experiment featuring a high resolution 3D environment built within the PlayCanvas Engine.

Casino builds on the techniques developed by ARM and PlayCanvas during the creation of the SeeMore WebGL demo, and is designed to show high-end rendering techniques being deployed in a PlayCanvas WebGL environment. Rendering techniques being used in Casino include:

  • Physically based rendering
  • Engine-baked prefiltered reflection probes
  • Realtime paraboloid reflections
  • Mesh level of detail
  • Volumetric fog
