Ludum Dare, the longest running and largest online accelerated game design competition (or Game Jam) has recently completed its 33rd Jam. Based on the theme ‘You are the monster’, hundreds of entries were created in either 72 or 48 hours. Of particular interest to Mali developers is the number of entries made using WebGL. In particular, using tools from our partners PlayCanvas and Unity Technologies.

As a cross-browser and platform tool, WebGL content can run in virtually any browser on any device. This makes it ideal for developing on Mali-based devices as there is no need to worry about compatibility. Read more about WebGL here.

There were many interesting, weird and wonderful entries for Ludum Dare 33 – below are some of the entries that caught our eye for graphical style, range of device compatibility… and most importantly, for being fun to play!
