Enhancing your Unity mobile games

This presentation shows developers how to get the most out of Unity when developing under the unique challenges of mobile platforms. These effects are not limited to Unity and can be relevant for developers of any game platform. The presenters share important tips for developing efficient games. Advanced rendering effects will be covered in more detail, such as reflections based on local cubemaps. A new way of rendering dynamic real-time shadows based on the use of static local cube textures will be revealed. This innovative technique allows for a dramatic improvement in performance and quality when rendering shadows. This is especially relevant on mobile devices, where the use of available resources must be carefully balanced.
